McLaren 720S wedding car hire Lancashire Storm Grey · Wedding ready
Why a 720S

Because the bridal car shouldn't be the most forgettable photograph in the album.

A vintage Rolls-Royce is beautiful. A white Bentley is classic. And every wedding photographer in the country has shot both, a thousand times each.

The McLaren 720S is something different. Dihedral doors that open like the start of a magic trick. A silhouette that looks like it was sketched in a wind tunnel. A presence that makes guests gather in the car park before they walk into the venue. It's the photograph that gets shared on Instagram before the ceremony has even started — and the one your mother-in-law shows her friends for the next ten years.

It also happens to be remarkably comfortable, surprisingly easy to get in and out of in a wedding dress, and quiet enough to actually have a conversation in on the way to the venue.

What's included

Every booking, every time.

01 — Professional chauffeur

The car is driven by the owner. Suited, briefed, and unflustered by overrunning ceremonies, missing buttonholes and last-minute venue changes.

02 — Full hire & reward insurance

Specialist policy covering paid wedding work. We can provide proof of cover for your venue if requested. Most wedding car operators don't have this — always ask.

03 — Detailing & presentation

Hand-washed, ceramic-coated, interior detailed and tyre-dressed before every booking. Wedding ribbon supplied if requested (or politely declined — most couples don't bother on a 720S).

04 — Photo time built in

Every package includes dedicated time for photographs with the car at your venue. We'll position it on the best backdrop, open the doors for the hero shot, and step out of frame.

05 — Champagne on arrival

A bottle of chilled champagne and two flutes are in the car for the bride and groom. Non-alcoholic option available on request.

06 — Pre-wedding visit

For full-day bookings, we'll do a venue recce in advance — checking access, drop-off points and the best spots for photographs. Free of charge.

Frequently asked

The questions every couple asks.

01

Can the bride get in and out in a dress?

Yes — much more easily than people expect. The dihedral doors actually make it easier than a conventional saloon car because the door opening is much wider and the sill is no higher than a normal car. We've had brides in full ballgowns and dramatic trains step out gracefully every time. We'll position the car on a flat surface and offer a steadying hand on the way out.

02

Can two people fit comfortably?

Yes. The 720S is a strict two-seater but the cabin is wider and more spacious than most people imagine. Plenty of headroom (Andy is 6'2" and has no issues), comfortable leather seats, and full climate control. It's not a Rolls-Royce — but it's a long way from cramped.

03

Are you fully insured for wedding work?

Yes. We carry a specialist hire and reward insurance policy that specifically covers paid passenger transport. This is essential, and most informal "supercar hire" arrangements you'll find on Facebook do not have it. Always ask any wedding car supplier to confirm they have hire-and-reward cover and to provide a copy of their certificate. We're happy to send ours to your venue if needed.

04

What if it rains?

This is Lancashire — it'll probably rain. The 720S is fully weather-sealed and arrives looking immaculate regardless. We carry a large golf umbrella for the walk from the car to the venue, and we'll always offer to bring the car as close as venue access allows. The photographs in light rain often look better than the dry ones, for what it's worth.

05

Can we have the car for our photographs?

Yes — every booking includes dedicated time with the car for photographs at your venue. For full-day bookings we can also drive you and your photographer to a scenic location of your choice (subject to time) for a separate photo session. Some couples build a 30-minute portrait window into their schedule specifically for car shots in the countryside.

06

How far in advance should we book?

For Saturdays in peak wedding season (May–September), 6–12 months in advance is sensible. We only take one wedding booking per day to make sure every couple gets full attention, so dates do go quickly. Off-season weekends and weekday weddings are often available with much shorter notice.

07

Do you offer a deposit and payment plan?

A 25% deposit secures the date. The balance is due 14 days before the wedding. We can split the balance across instalments on request — it costs you nothing and helps spread the cost.

08

What about proms?

Proms are one of our favourite bookings — the reaction from the school car park is genuinely something to see. We treat prom hires with exactly the same care as a wedding: detailing, professional chauffeur, the works. Parents are always welcome to ride along to the venue. Hourly and short-form bookings available.
